Natural plastering DVD

Posted on 11 April 201411 April 2014

One of the skills we’re certain to need to learn is plastering. Most of the houses we looked at in Bulgaria use a natural plaster, developed from locally sourced clays, and bound with straw. We have backed this Kickstarter project to help a Canadian, Chris Magwood, produce a DVD showing the range of techniques he has developed over the last 20 years of working on natural building projects.

If you’re interested in sustainable design, and want to know more about working with natural clay plaster, then this Kickstarter project is worth supporting. The guy leading it has 20 years experience working with natural building projects in Canada, and is hoping to get funding to make a DVD, sharing the knowledge he has gained. His pitch video is below.

By clicking on the link, you will also help us, if the project gets the go-ahead!
