Three weeks in

Posted on 28 August 2014

We’ve been in our new house for three weeks now, and in Palamartsa for five. We think we’ve done really well getting the house sorted out and liveable, especially with the hectic social life we’ve had since we moved into our new home! We’ve met most of our immediate neighbours, been to four evening meals, two festivals, and had loads of conversations with people we don’t know and where neither of us understand much of what the other is talking about! We’re loving it here, even though the bugs see me as breakfast, lunch and dinner and it’s so hot most days that I’m dodging the sun from 10am – 5pm.

It looks and sounds like a real adventure! Have fun learning more and more about the Bulgarian culture and making a new life for yourselves. Robyn, your relative from Minnesota, United States. 🙂

Hi Robyn, Yes we are learning loads of new skills and getting involved in village life. We don’t have a herb garden yet but I’ll be sure to ask you any questions that we have when we come to plan it.
